It didn't end well!

Not the way you'd want to start the day!

A high wind brought down this silver birch, and cut the power - the tree people were on the spot and rapidly removing it - lots of people watching and taking photos as it was blocking the entrance to the Saturday market - loads of delicious food, much of it organic.

And I never thought I'd see people queueing to buy porridge! Admittedly "deluxe" porridge, but still...........
