Day 3 - Koper (Capodistria)

Day three brings us to Koper in Slovenia. This is the most northerly Port Cruise itinerary, and it's just a few miles from the Italian port of Triest. We were towels that quite a few inhabitants of Koper and the surrounding area work in Italy. One of the benefits of being in the EU.

For a long time Koper was within the Venetian Republic. The town has quite an Italian feel to it, and everybody speaks Italian which was handy for me.

The picture shows a fountain which appears to be looking back at Venice as it has its very own "bridge of sighs"
