Bird banding and so much more

We had an absolutely memorable day. Here are a few highlights. We first spent the morning with Dave Paton from www.bior.org.au who is an expert on reconstructing habitat for biodiversity. He had travelled to Kangaroo Island from Adelaide just to talk with the four of us and experience bird banding so they can measure the numbers of natural bird life. We experienced bird banding with him.

Then we went on a magical tunnel walk and saw Roos and koalas before a barbecue lunch

Then to A SeaLion Colony watching the sealions come back to land after foraging in the sea for 3 days and nights

we finished the day watching yellow tail black cockatoos and glossy black cockatoos
