Very Young Beech ‘Trees’.

The weather remains very changeable and also colder than might be expected at this time of year.

Our ‘smart’ speaker, Alexa, keeps warning us of Floods at Pickletillum which is a mile away and about 20 metres below our location. To the best of my knowledge the warnings are always wrong.

Otherwise, Alexa usually does what is asked of her.

Following the removal of the trees, I am now working on repairing the damage caused.

Today’s entry photo shows some of our self seeded Beech shrubs which will be moved in the autumn along with many others to become a beech hedge.

I have also uncovered several tiny oak ‘treelets’. Again they will be moved in the autumn.
