The lake at …..

….. ….. ….. Jacks Point today. Three of us from our Christchurch Girl Fridays group had lunch there today.
Such beautiful conditions! We struck great weather and there wasn’t a breath of wind.

Three of us Girl Fridays live down South now, two of us in Arrowtown, and J. living in Lake Hawea.
J. started our group a month after the February 22, 2011 earthquake. She invited 5 of her friends, none of whom knew each other. We’re all still in touch and get together quite frequently. WhatsApp is a great help! Three more joined shortly after we began, but there haven’t been any more. It’s been a wonderfully supportive and tightly knit group, a privilege to be part of.
