blue star...

...created perfectly

by the petunia - another of natures surprises - meant to delight me amongst the flowers...

it never fails - when you really aren't looking - then happen to glance - there it is, plain as day staring you in the face - it's what was today - with this one as i was lost in thought - suddenly realizing what i was looking at - then became captivated - not only by the blue star itself - but the deep saturated blue - in person, it borders on an almost richly hued purple - yet for some reason with the computer screen appears more blue - no matter - either way - it is rich, deeply lovely and needs no enhancement - it can stand all on its own - which is what i've allowed it to do here - outside of a bit of cropping - so let yourself get lost in it - be mesmerized - enchanted -

and by all means - let it be...
