The house that ? built

Read for an hour plus, then rallied around, breakfast, pottered in the garden, wrote out a few plant labels. Down to CK early to pick up Mum for appointment at the doctors surgery back in Chudleigh. Blood test, blood pressure, & weight this morning. Swung by home to pick up salad veggies for lunch with Mum. Back to Chudleigh Knighton, waterproofs on, then Indie & I headed off for our morning walkabout. One mizzly shower then the sun came out.............. I came across this insect built structure on the underside of a leaf along the old railway track.
Back home, Mum was pruning the growth back on a pyracantha in the front border so I gave her a hand to finish it off, a little deadheading, plus a light prune for the honeysuckle along the trellis, then we had coffee.
Made lunch for us both. A lovely fresh salad, cooked ham & Majorcan new potatoes .. Got the thumbs up from Mum :-)
Drove to Tesco's filled up with petrol, check the tyre pressure, then shopped. Only a few bits for myself plus fresh fruit for Mum.
Next stop Newton Abbot hospital, no problem parking today thank goodness. I made sure I had cash as there seems to be an ongoing problem paying by card or app.
Hubby in good spirits, some new meds ordered, a new skin cream, 2 meds to be stopped immediately. The nurse had written out John's daily meds sheet so there are no misunderstandings. :-) I will be buying a new weekly pill organizer. He's going to be discharged tomorrow. The physiotherapist organised a perching stool for hubby which I collected on my way out of the hospital.
A relaxing evening with a light supper - smoked salmon on Halkidiki & kalmata olive batard, freshly ground black pepper & a squeeze of lemon with a few olives and a glass of cider. Perfect!
