Fast train back to the slow lane

After a breakfast meeting I took the “Lizzie Line” from the City to Paddington and caught the 1032 train home. It whistles out of London and after Swindon slows down to a drowsy meander through the Cotswolds and descends the Stroud Valley where many buildings are unchanged since Laurie Lee’s day! In and out of Gloucester and finally Cheltenham Spa. Home for lunch with T. Great to pick up the boys after school as usual on a Tuesday.
