Hidcote

Visited the NT house and garden at Hidcote today. Excellent gardens, designed as a series of enclosed spaces - almost rooms - and open long views. Even if you're not a gardener - and I'm not - you have to appreciate the design vision and understanding of plants that went into making this garden. As a bonus, there is currently an exhibition of art by Olga Prinku. She specialises in images built from twigs and seedheads and similar things on tulle. Doesn't sound that exciting?
