It's Chronic

After recently joining a new practice I have been encouraged to use their diabetic clinic and recently had a reminder that they would like to see me. And I will go and see what it's about... But I do attend the diabetic clinic at ninewells hospital and they are brilliant and love my doctor.
When you have a chronic condition it sometimes seems that everyone wants a piece of you, and I'm aware that its all for the benefit of my health. But, just sometimes, it would be nice to skip the memo and pass on the reminder that yes, its chronic and its not going anywhere anytime soon.
Sometimes it appears we'd all like those rose tinted glasses!
