Garden Painting

There's always a bit of paint left over from a morning at Creation Station and I don't think my sink or washing machine are very appreciative of that paint so I have started letting the boys loose with it with various leftover bits of paper (and the stairwell wall). After yesterday taking the removal of his socks as an invitation to dive straight into the paint, Bear did similar this afternoon - I took his socks off, then figured it might be safer to take his pants off too. Good move. Bean ran and got some cars (oooh doesn't flickr look different now?! not used it since before Christmas...!) to paint with and had a great time too! They had fun sort-of cleaning up in the paddling pool after that :) There's other pics in the stream as well!

Steve did us proud in the afternoon when we suddenly realised we were supposed to be cooking for Chris and Halil by cooking up two lots of toad in the hole to go with the banana bread he'd made earlier.

Thinking back it's been a really weird role reversal today. Steve's cooked and looked after the kids, and when I got back from work I was able to actually play with them while he made dinner.
