In days gone by one could buy loaves of extremely shite bread fr 21p and tins of beans for thruppence if one were merely after extremely cheap sources of minimal sustenance. My student self would have had the heebies at the thought of regularly spending more than a pound on a loaf, but would also have considered this stuff a little bit rubbish, even compared to 21p stuff. Unfortunately there were two loaves of it in the online shop Nicky collected yesterday, in place of the tastier bread actually requested.
