We ...........

 ..............  seem to have been adopted by a rook ..... pretty sure it's the same one that flies in most days and I think he/she/it lives over in the copse in the back field.   Always comes alone .......  and is VERY skittish. 

I remember, when I was small (under five) we had a crow that used to come into the kitchen - Mum used to feed it and it got very tame.

I really like having birds in the garden, whatever variety.    The squabbling starlings are a bit noisy at the moment, though.   :o))
