Eastern Lights

Never seen this before and it's right here in our back-garden! And this is looking east, so there must be a serious solar storm going on. Not really visible to the naked eye, the camera picks up the hidden colours. 

Orla had her first History paper this morning and her first Physics paper this afternoon. It sounds like she aced both of them! She couldn't have been better prepared. It was a beautiful day and Dad and Orla had a nice walk along the Water of Leith, through Colinton Tunnel. Found a lovely bench for a picnic with nice shade from the trees, the sound of the birds, the sound of the weir and the smell of wild garlic.
