Today's Walk

The weather was bitterly cold as we set off from the Gondala lower base to walk over the Bridle Path. This is the track taken by our first settlers which winds its way over the Port Hills from the port at Lyttelton to the city. This is a fairly tough walk but we all made it. My photos are the city side from the summit and log loading at Lyttelton port. We bussed back through the road tunnel for a well-earned coffee and scone in Heathcote.
