My What Lovely Blue Eyes You Have.

Well my day to Arran was a strange start with the weather as it was nice when I left aroung 03.45am to catch the first ferry to Arran at 7am and by the time Igot to Ardrossan it was absolutely chucking it down but I wasn't down as I had been checking the weather for a few days in advance and my nose was telling me it would be a wonderful day with early showers and a fine day after that and after a quick couple of early showers when I arrived on the island it stayed lovely for the rest of the day and I even had the surprise of a tour guide in the shape of fellow blipper Rozwood1970 who I recognised as one of my subs on the boat and she was also visiting the island as well and she warned me about the the buses as the roads are rough and bouncy well she wasn't wrong after my first trip around the south of the Island and all shook up I arrived at Blackwaterfoot a lovely we village and had a couple hours there with a small beer in the local pub then had a wander along the beach which is where my blip was taken from of this Lovely Gannet the poor bird had a broken wing which was such a shame and a couple were on the phone to see if they could get help for it I guess that is why I could get as close to it, now then the North Island bus trip was a trip not for the faint hearted as I am still a bit sor in the spin as I was bounced all around the seat I almost felt like a kid on the roller coaster but was glad to get off back at Brodick albeit I could only face a soup and a couple of onion Rings as I thought I might BARF oh well it was an absolute wonderful day and enjoyed the excellent tour guide which was a bonus from Roz as she has had many trips to the island so thanks for that Roz at least the boat ride back was smooth Istopped for a bit on the mainland to let my legs solidify as they had been like jelly from that bouncing around, I will post other shots of Arran in my folio on Staturday when I catch up with all your comments movie for the day is "The Private Life Of Gannets 1934" See Ya
