Yellow glow

We didn't get to see the aurora yesterday as it was too cloudy, why didn't we try harder on Friday? At least there have been plenty of photos!
Church as usual this morning and this afternoon I got some brassica seedlings planted out. Too many, as usual, but the slugs will probably get a few.
After watching the last few miles of the cycling (giro d'Italia) I went for a walk by the ponds and noticed this large, yellow swathe. I couldn't get near but I think they are Marsh marigolds which I don't remember from before, maybe brought by the floods.
Much cooler today.
