The morning after…

After the finish of our team yesterday, we went back along the course to cheer on the other Honte team. It would have been very close to the deadline (you have to finish within 24 hrs after your start in order to get a medal). Unfortunately, the team finished 6.5 min too late. Still valiant, but so close…
We had dinner all together and then had to clean up, load the boats and drive back to the sleeping accommodation. So another late night. This morning we had an early-ish rise at 7 am to have a last super nice breakfast together. When we were loading the vans to go for breakfast I took this photo of the surro. Fields, farms and water.
