Aurora Hedgehogalis!

Following the weatherman’s advice, waited until Eurovision had finished at midnight to head out in search of the Aurora Borealis, having set a tripod up ready at the bottom of the garden. But as I stepped out into the darkness I stubbed my foot on something very prickly, I’d kicked a poor little hedgehog! I don’t know who was more shocked, me or Mrs Tiggywinkle!! I was worried I’d hurt her as she didn’t move for a few minutes, but eventually she scurried away. Oh, and no sightings of the Northern Lights.

After a late hot stuffy night, it’s been a quietish day. A muggy 25 degrees, but the yellow warning of thunderstorms never came to anything, a mainly sunny day.

PS I don’t recommend kicking a hedgehog when wearing flip flops, it hurts. And it probably doesn’t do the hedgehog much good either!
