Cottage garden

My big flower bed has been described as a “cottage garden” I think that is a polite way of saying it is chaotic. Certainly at this time of year it is full of a huge variety of plants, all jostling for position.
We went outside late last night to try and see the Northern Lights but there was nothing there sadly. Apparently they weren’t visible in our area last night. There were wonderful pictures on line from the previous night.
