No Aurora for me

The previous night the Aurora was seen in large parts of Europe, even in Switserland! I'd missed out on that spectacle and set out last night with the hope of catching that light then; the 3 hours I'd been out on this spot I didn't see a glimpse of that light.... But, I heard the frogs croak and the swans chatter and twice the running of a hare thro' the grass close to where I stood and fish swim its laps and jumps out from the water... it was like listening to music of their night!
