Coronet Peak …..

….. ….. ….. Lake Hayes, and reflections.
I was driving home after church and called in at the Pavilion to see if the reflections were as good as they looked from the road.
I’d been given some birthday flowers at church and wanted to put them in water at home before going out to lunch at Kinross in the Gibbston Valley with the family for a combined Mother’s Day and birthday lunch. What a feast we had! The consensus was that the Royalburn lamb shank was the best! Hazel & Cora made great use of the playground and swings, in between demolishing a lions share of the delicious food. The chocolate mousse was a winner too! I’ve had a very happy day - it’s been lovely.
