Off to find the sun

I can't understand why everybody is going on about this so-called hot weather.
I happen to be sitting in the office with hat, coat, gloves and scarf on trying to fend off hypothermia.
The air conditioning seems to be a tad aggressive. The outside of the office is littered with shivering smokers trying to get a bit of heat into their bones before once more diving into the freezer for another two-hours work. It doesn't matter whether it's summer or winter, there will always be shivering smokers outside our place. That's a fact.

Everyone is talking about going abroad for their holidays - most people booked in the winter when a two-week session of foreign sunbathing seemed to be a good idea. Now they realise they could have saved a packet and holidayed in their back garden. But no-one is disheartened as come August we will be back to snow and floods as usual.
Even we are looking to go to foreign climes next month.....
