Delightful hike

First of all, last night we saw the huge light arc north of town but we didn't see colors. We stood by the van and leaned against the hood to keep warm. It was so still and silent. The moon going down was gorgeous. And there was a curious horse that came to check us out. I know looking through the phone was the thing to do but my phone just didn't see to work. It was cool anyway but I do wish I would have gotten some good pictures. I do think that around 2 or 3 in the morning would have been a good time to view but then we would have had to drive out of town that would have been too late for me. Oh well someday... that's what I said about the eclipse. I have time :-)
Today was beautiful and I got up for a long dawdle at Happy Jack to look for tiny prairie flowers. I wasn't disappointed. My collage is in the extra as well as a nice view of a hill and clouds. My main are the pussy willows budding out. I ran into a couple friends up there and had a nice chat with them.
The rest of the day has been spent cooking. I just baked very successful gluten free brownies!
