Fuegos Artificiales

We’ve packed a lot in over the last few days, so today we decided to slow down like the Valencians and enjoy the sunshine. We had breakfast in one of my favourite squares and after exploring the Mercado de Colon, we climbed up the Serrano Towers. After a late lunch and a siesta, we walked around the Parque Central.
Despite the controversy, we watched the Eurovision tonight. However we missed an hour or so as there was a fireworks display at the Town Hall that we wanted to see. It was spectacular but also deafening!
We made it back in time to see Nemo win. I liked the song. It’s very late here now so I’ll have to catch up with journals tomorrow.
