Queen Ann's Lace or Cow Parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris)

A fabulous walk from the house-sit and decided to take my camera with me and spent some time 'playing' - I really need to go back to using it more often. I find it so rewarding and totally absorbing.

I found a long soil bank abuzz with bees - a birding friend identified them as Gooden's nomad bees. They are you he bee equivalent of cuckoos. Fascinating. Will try to go back tomorrow to see if I can spot the 'host' species
