My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

We saw the beautiful pictures of the Aurora Borealis over Edinburgh yesterday and given that we'd received a warning of the solar storm continuing to our evening, we were hopeful we'd see the Aurora Australis over here too.

Jefe starting posting some beautiful pictures from where he is - just down the coast - at about 7pm.

"Wow!" said Caro and popped into our back garden to get pictures of her own.

She posted this onto our shared chat with Jefe.

"Nice clouds," he replied.

"This is BULLSH*T," she texted back. 

And THAT, my dear friends, made me laugh like a drain for a good ten minutes.
