The Light

Late morning we drove the half hour to Tintern, Monmouthshire (UK) in the Wye Valley to do a cycle ride to Chepstow with our friends and neighbours.

We cycled to Beachley, Chepstow where it takes you to under the Old Severn Bridge, and followed the footpath to the take in the view of The Second Severn Crossing (shown) with the tide still coming in. The photo' show the stunning light and the church ruin on St Twrogg's Island in the Severn Estuary.

We stopped for a coffee at a road side cafe on the cycle trail back to Tintern and enjoyed an excellent coffee in the sunshine.

We're off out again tonight. Hopefully the weather will be nice again tomorrow but showers forecast!
