Train.

I got the East Coast train up to Inverness today, 1st class no less! Well it was only £1.50 more than the cheap seats so I went for it ;)

I love the east coast trains simply because they have power sockets (Scotrail don't) and I can watch stuff on my computer to pass the time. Half way through the journey and I was perfectly content, 4 episodes of Game of Thrones to watch and endless cups of tea being delivered to me. Bliss!

Then the train ground to halt and we sat just outside Blair Atholl for 2 hours because there was a broken unit on the line ahead of us and no one knew what to do!

Quite frustrating. However I finished watching GoT (slightly embarrassing whenever anyone walked past, it's pretty explicit!) and had a free GnT before we started up again, reversed to Blair Atholl, switched tracks, proceeded up the down line and eventually got to Inverness :)
