The Starling Chorus.....

.....and it was something many heard from miles around, when Starlings competed from the Rooftops for 'The Dawn Starling,' of the month award.

The Starling which could hold its note, sing a delightful song, and hold the attention of the audience the longest, won.

George was determined to win this time, with a week's worth of suet going to the winner, as George's dulcet tones belched out a tune into the warm dawn air, the sky was blue with earache....

The winner of the 'collection' of sound was judged by good old social media, after all, there is no finer judge.....

And so the sound of George's squawking tones grabbed the airwaves, and George was awarded the winner as the 'likes' for his 'tune' shot up the chart, with George's judged the most 'memorable'.

As a nearby pub braced itself to hear a jubilant George's tuneful winner, George's partner produced a song in celebration, much to the joy of the neighbours - who suddenly found earplugs to be extremely useful.
