Sunrise Gold…..

We had a clear dawn sky here in Blenheim. In the far distance in this image there is a bank of clouds. They are rimmed with the gold of the rising sun. There is not much heat on the sun at the moment. But there was just enough to dry the laundry outdoors. This evening lots of photos of the current Aurora Australis are being posted on social media. Beautiful colours. Many of the local photos have been captured at Rarangi Beach, a 20 minute drive from town.. Hopefully I will take a trip to the beach tomorrow night.
