A treat

Today was incredibly busy and very hot!

After school I drove over to Chesterton to take some pictures of the windmill. I took some good shots and then spotted a little bird flying around the area and resting in the eaves. He remained on his nest for a few minutes and then started darting about and swooping down. I thought he was warning me off, but soon realised he was chasing and catching bugs and flies to feed his chicks. It was lovely watching him fly and move with such dexterity and elegance. A real showcase of aerobatics.
