Magnificent

A fairly standard Friday but a non-standard end. Picked up by the bestest friend from school and out with the buses, we had a straightforward journey to Birmingham. Booked into our hotel and then went in search of somewhere to eat near the arena. Zizzi’s provided good food and efficient staff and then we headed into the arena. A long-held wish to see Elbow fulfilled and they really were magnificent. Living up to expectation and a real spectacle. So many high points but the encore was inevitably One Day Like This and it was done justice.
