The Northern Lights in Southern Scotland

Wow! 
I went to the beach just after sunset, caught a great reflection on the still waters and then looked up.

Was that a cloud, or a smudge, or, or could it be the Northern Lights?!

It comes out better on my camera than what my eye could see in the post sunset gloom.
