Buttermere
Time for a proper bivvy - it’s easy to keep on bivvying in the garden, where I feel safe, but also good to Live Adventurously.
I set off after work for the Lake District and one of my favourite valleys. I’d forgotten how narrow the road is, coming from Cockermouth…fortunately it wasn’t too busy at this time of day.
I went for a walk down by the lake, where people were swimming and enjoying the warm evening. Now I’m up on Rannerdale Knotts. I can see the Galloway Hills from here. A tiny new moon hangs above me. All is quiet and still; I think I’ll sleep well tonight :-)
