Solitude

Another Wainwright conquered, the direct route up Grasmoor from Crummock. Not a soul around, not a sound on top, it was quite magical. Then Wandope and Whiteless Pike, finishing along the path through the Rannerdale bluebells - I thought I’d maybe seen enough bluebells for this year, maybe didn’t want to meet the hoards of people walking through, but these were absolutely stunning (see extra).
