Nature diary..Aquilegia
Self-seeded several years ago these aquilegia flowers now bloom every year, leaving their seeds in the grass below them as they end their 'flower reign time'.
The seeds settle down until the time is right for them to wake up and start their journey to becoming tall- standing plants, which then produce the most delicate flowers of the most delightful colours.
Wonderful.
