Mrs Bradshaw

We’ve had a fairly uneventful day. No Keep Fat for Tess this morning as their instructor is on holiday; instead, with Summer having temporarily arrived, we headed to the Village to buy some new shorts.

After that we spent an hour at the outdoor pool, managing to catch up with a lot of the regulars.

This afternoon we walked to the supermarket to get ingredients for tonight’s dinner before Chris called in after work for a cup of tea. We were joined by one of our neighbours who Tess used to work with in play schools. She popped across the road to invite Tess to a play school meal next week and ended up staying for over an hour while we caught up on our respective latest news and enjoyed the afternoon sun.

Our Geum, Mrs Bradshaw, is enjoying the sunshine too.
