By the water's edge
We’ve had a family day today because five out of the six family members who are here on site with us are going home tomorrow. We enjoyed lunch together in the restaurant and then we looked after our two granddaughters while Mummy and Daddy made a last visit to Ambleside by themselves.
After tea I went for a quiet stroll around the estate in the evening sunshine, taking my favourite 100mm prime lens with me. This is a view of a few of the timeshare lodges around one of the small tarns on the estate, which are fed by the Great Langdale Beck, part of which is diverted through our estate before it rejoins the main river a short distance away.
