Tonight’s fun

At the ripe old age of 62 I discovered Table Tennis. Never even picked up a bat before last September.
We meet on a Monday at the leisure centre and I love it. Lots of laughter and exercise. I can’t believe how strenuous it is. Once a month we play at a nearby hall and that involves tea and homemade cake at half time.
I’m no great shakes but am improving. If somebody really wants to slaughter me, I don’t mind because I can learn from that too.
I really wish that I had discovered it earlier in my life.
