Lazy daisies

We found a new (to us) walk at the top of Hayling Island which we enjoyed hugely this afternoon. Such lovely warm sunshine with the tide in, the flowers out and we had it to ourselves.

In years past there was a train line which ran down the western sea line of the island (until 1963 evidently) but now it is a path for walkers, cyclists, riders. We strolled up to.a remaining signal post and wandered round the oyster beds and roosting habitats of terns. (Extras) Lovely afternoon.
