Turf

Gran has decided it is time to get rid of the flower bed in the middle of the front grass. The original cobble driveway for the house is just underneath so nothing that needs a hole dug can be planted. We've grown wild flowers for a few years but the foxes have a habit of squashing them, it needs weeded constantly during the autumn and spring and the cable for the lawnmower has to be lifted around anything growing in the summer which is quite annoying so the decision has been made and grass is going down. Gran and I have changed a strawberry patch at the very bottom of the garden into a nice new wild flower area so the bees will still have somewhere to enjoy.
