Vintage Busking...
... at Bantry Fair. The world and his wife were here today, plus lots of glamorous looking people with cellos and violins in town for the Chamber music Festival. I admired this woman's vintage creation, espcially her red hat with veil, more than her playing which tended to go on a bit in a rather dirgelike fashion. You can buy all sorts of things from Greek olives to Morrocan shoes, Irish soap to French crepes; teacups, ponies, baskets, tools, necklaces, magpie traps, books, plants, chickens, bridles, dressers, CDs and a wonderful and sometimes motley assortment of bric a brac. I came home with three different types of mint and some echinacea plants having feasted on a spinach and cheese crepe made by a real Frenchman.
