Aphid Action

Wow . Watching Djokovic vs Del Potro Wimbledon semi final. Such skill and fitness.
I am staying with WeeChrisand his lovely family. We had a lovely lunch at The Goods Shed in Canterbury and shared a bottle of wine - well Denise and I did as Chris was post-op. Half a bottle of very cold white wine on a hot day slips down a bit quicker than it should maybe.
I was stalking insects in their garden and Denise pointed me in the direction of an attractive green plant " You should get some good ant action there"
The ants were all over some aphids in several parts of the plant. It looked really sinister. I liked the silhouetted ants on the sunny leaf.
When I looked up ants and aphids I discovered far from murdering the aphids , the ants are actually probably 'farming ' them . You learn something new every day.
