Road Trip

A road trip today. I drove to Roseburg (150 miles south) to meet my classmates for their monthly lunch. I arrived in town early, so I paid a visit to my mom and dad’s resting sites. It has been too long since I visited them. On my way out, I saw 20 or more Canada geese grazing their way through the gravestones. I liked that. Only four of us showed up for the lunch, as opposed to the usual 12-15, but the conversation was more connected between the four of us. On my way out of town, I dropped off some of my books at a bookstore in Roseburg who will sell them. Long trip back home, but I am home now. Long day on the down and back road trip, but good to see my old stomping grounds.
