Sadly, neither funds nor time allowed me to take a photo of the Statue of Liberty on Independence day, so I have one of Leicester's version instead.

The directors of a local shoe factory were commissioned the piece after a trip to New York in 1920. After the business closed the statue was vandalised, but restored and placed in it's current home in 2008
