Triple Decker

Pulpit with sounding board !
A trip to Bawdeswell garden centre-and then a walk round the village . All Saints church was open ( they often seem to be up here ) so we crept in to investigate. The original was the only village church in Norfolk to be completely destroyed in WW2 ….an RAF Mosquito returning from a mission over Germany got into trouble and crashed into the church .
The modern church was built in 1953-5 in a neo Georgian style with walls made from Norfolk uncut flint in a herringbone pattern .
