Ascension Day
Today the choir sang from the church roof at 8.00am, a tradition on Ascension Day and what a wonderful May morning! The cow parsley in the churchyard is always just a beautiful frothy mass and as we wended our way to the Wheatsheaf for a delicious cooked breakfast (also a tradition!) I couldn't resist taking this view of the church. In extras is our view from the roof of the brave Northleach souls who made it out of bed in time to come and hear us and to stay for the service afterwards. Mr Sk can be seen in his white alb just behind Bishop David, who took the service.
