More successful than nerve blocks. Sadly the local anaesthetic had no effect on the symptoms I'm experiencing so it seems the facet joint nerves aren't to blame. Now to see if the steroid helps at all. It's a diagnostic process and there was a chance it wouldn't work, but when you've suffered for 6 months it's hard not to be disappointed when the outcome isn't what you were hoping for.
