Lots of brushes!

Today we went to meet up with my brother and his wife in the Hillbrush cafe for lunch. We have not seen them for ages and as he is a working farmer he very very rarely visits us!

Hillbrush is a really interesting place to visit, just off the A303 at Mere, near Stourhead NT gardens.
As well as a nice cafe they sell all sorts of brushes and have a brush factory next door. The business started locally in 1922 and the history of the brush making is told there plus they have some old brush making machines etc.
Every time I go there I seem to buy a brush..I have a ‘behind the radiator’  brush and a very good cobweb brush too. Plus there are lots for pets all still made of natural fibres. They do however also make plastic brushes to compete with other manufacturers. Today I managed to leave without purchasing anything!
